Will Irlam

Director

Will is the Managing Director of Irlam Associates Group.
Will started his career running a successful family Logistics business which was acquired by Eddie Stobart in 2008. After staying on for several years in the acquiring business he saw a real gap in the market across the Logistics, Aviation and Manufacturing sector. In 2014, after months of strategic planning, Irlam Associates Group was born. The business was built with one goal in mind; to play a pivotal part in the strategic growth of its clients.

Will holds an active role in the business to ensure its development & growth opportunities are realised.

Will enjoys spending time with his family along with being a keen tennis player and trying his hand at golf.

Aaron Bradley

Director

Aaron is the Director of Irlam Associates Group. His journey with the business started in 2015 when he was brought in as a Recruitment Consultant. Aaron’s initial involvement was supporting the development of the Aviation, Supply Chain & Logistics and Manufacturing sectors from a resourcing perspective. Transitioning through several key roles within the business, he gained a sound understanding of the commercial development and strategic responsibilities that were required.
In Q3 of 2021, Aaron was invited to the board by Will Irlam (Managing Director) due to his commitment and dedication that played a pivotal part in the hyper-growth of the business.

Rob Garner

Operations Development Manager

Rob stems from an Operational Logistics background and has recently joined Irlam Associates as an Operations Development Manager. Brought in to add value and build upon new & long-lasting relationships across a strong and broad client base. Passionate about the industry, Rob held the position of Chairman for the CILT (Cheshire Group) been a Career Ready Mentor and is often seen networking/attending events and supporting many initiatives in getting people to choose logistics/supply chain as an excellent career choice.

Outside work Rob is a family man and is a proud father of two and when possible, can be found getting in a Swim/Run & Bike to maintain fitness and has been a long-standing member of Knutsford Triathlon Club. During the Spring/Summer months you can find Rob and his family down in Morfa Nefyn/Abersoch (North Wales) enjoying the beach lifestyle…

Alex Freedman

Account Manager

Alex comes from a background of Transport & Logistics management recruitment with a reputation for being thorough and knowledgeable and someone who builds great relationships with candidates and clients alike.

Away from work he is a mad Watford fan (We're not sure why!) and goes to see them as much as possible each season. To relax and in his spare time, he is a keen golfer & tennis player and movie watcher extraordinaire, with a love for cooking and baking too (more so the eating of what he’s made).

Emile Duffy

Recruitment Consultant

Emile comes from a chemical background being involved with a number of different roles, including working within quality control labs to now recruiting for one of the biggest chemical manufacturing companies globally. Emile also works heavily within Transport & Logistics and helps to account manage one of our main clients Speedy Freight, placing a number of different positions from business development managers through to a varied amount of accounting roles. He is someone who can build relationships over the phone or in-person and has the ability to find out exactly what his clients and candidates are really searching for.

To relax he likes to go to the gym, play tennis, spending time with friends and a big passion is his Dj’ing career which has offered opportunities to travel to other countries around the world.

Joe Makinson

Account Manager

Joe joined Irlam Associates in 2018 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, after gaining several years’ experience in sales. Since Joe joined the business, he has received back-to-back promotions and is now one of our top-performing Account Managers in the business. Joe has recruited in a variety of industries including Transport & Logistics, Automotive, Architecture and Sales and is now heavily involved in supporting our clients within the Aviation industry. Joe is able to both create and build relationships with clients and can detect exactly what his clients and candidates are really searching for when completing a recruitment drive.

Outside of work; Joe enjoys spending time relaxing with family and friends, playing golf at his local course, Mottram Hall and training in his local Gym.

Nathan Cainer

Recruitment Consultant

Nathan entered the business from a sales executive/general management background within the automotive and fitness sector. Nathan shows passion to provide the perfect journey for the clients and candidates using a vibrant, knowledgeable and dynamic approach.

Nathan spent previous years travelling Australia to various different countries but now he enjoys nothing more than getting to the gym and a nice country walk with his puppy and a good old roast dinner to finish.

Brendan Behan

Recruitment Consultant

Brendan joined Irlam associates midway through 2021, whilst Brendan had no prior recruitment experience, he has plenty of experience working with people. He worked in hospitality for three years and one year for a large life assurance company on the bereavements team. This taught him the importance of supporting people through a difficult period and gave him a greater understanding of people on the whole. Since joining Irlam, Brendan has been focused on the Aviation Industry and has been able to build strong relationships with both clients and candidates, whilst gaining an affinity for aviation himself.

Brendan spent three years at university where he gained a degree in Business Management. In his spare time, he enjoys socialising with friends, playing golf, and watching various different shows on TV.

Mubarak Mohamed

Recruitment Consultant

Mubarak joined Irlam Associates in 2021. He has 3 years of aviation experience at Manchester Airport and a year in healthcare, this involves placing people on a permanent basis and on a temp to perm basis. His current focus is to excel in the field that he is working in by developing existing relationships and building new ones. He also loves getting people their dream jobs and the greatest satisfaction for him is when candidates appreciate the effort he has put in to ensure they get their ideal role!

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, keeps fit by going to the gym, and is a massive foodie, so enjoys going out with friends to try all the new places.

Harvey Wain

Account Manager

Harvey joined Irlam Associates in 2019 after several years’ experience in Sales. Initially, he was brought in as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and has received back-to-back promotions to an Account Manager position in 2021. His predominant focus was building and developing existing relationships within Transport, Logistics & Aviation. Harvey is a passionate, motivated, and well-driven individual who has a real focus on creating the best possible top to bottom service for the clients he manages.

Outside of work, He is a socialite. Spending his weekends in Cheshire, relaxing with friends, training in his local Gym, and playing golf.

Donna Zarb-Catterall

Compliance Manager / Quality Control

Donna joined Irlam Associates in September 2021 and brings with her several years of aviation related background checking experience, starting as a Recruitment Assistant at a large corporate organisation and gradually working her way up to compliance and enjoying every minute of an ever changing industry. She understands that compliance is a very tricky and challenging role and that you need to have a keen eye for detail, enjoy rules and regulations and above all else a sense of humour.

She continues to support her daughter in her football most nights but definitely looks forward to a fizzy Friday at the end of the week!

Vetting Coordinator

Adam is a compliance and vetting coordinator within our aviation sector of the business. He has a vast knowledge within the sector and 4+ years of experience in compliance and vetting.

In his spare time, he is cultivating the next generation of footballing talent, coaching two football teams for his local side Wythenshawe Amateurs. A fount of knowledge when it comes to all things football and a massive Manchester City fan.

Mamoon Butt

Vetting Administrator

Mamoon is an active member of the team, often supporting the aviation recruitment team whilst also fulfilling his role in the vetting department. Mamoon is a driven and passionate individual, constantly striving under pressure and always wanting to create a lasting impression on everyone. No matter the responsibility, Mamoon is always down for a challenge!

Right after office hours, Mamoon is a relaxed and sociable person. He loves driving, playing football and staying active by going to the gym whenever he is free. He loves a laugh regardless of where he is. He truly is the heartbeat of the team.

Awais is an enthusiastic and driven individual who is a key member of our Vetting Team. Whilst also being a student, Awais has a range of client experience which he gained during his time working in the Financial Services sector. Through this, he possesses many key skills such as communication, time management and working with a team. He is a reliable and trustworthy person and it’s a pleasure to have him as a part of the Vetting Team.

Out of work, Awais is a huge football fan, supporting the blue side of Manchester, as well as being a keen F1 fan. He loves spending time with his family and friends, making memories wherever he can.

Lani joined Irlam Associates to work in their vetting department. She is from Malta, so of course loves the beach and travelling! Aside from that, she enjoys watching formula one, and is a fan of red bull!

Delivery Manager

Punita is the Delivery Manager and joined Irlam Associates team in March 2022. With nearly 18 years of experience in the aviation industry, Punita’s knowledge of airport operations is second to none. She now wishes to grow her skill set within the Aviation Recruitment industry. She loves her job because it's all about finding the right person for the right role and ensuring both parties are happy and proud.

She enjoys being a mum to a gorgeous boy! She also loves baking (which has now become a little side business), meditating, being with friends and family and enjoying a nice Gin & Tonic.

Vetting and Compliance Coordinator

Vinster is the Vetting and Compliance Coordinator who joined the Irlam Associates team in June 2022.
He comes with experience in the Aviation industry with his main area being Aviation Security. Vinster is now super excited to grow his knowledge in the Aviation Recruitment industry.

Outside work, he is engaged in swimming, playing football and a regular at the Gym, and lastly a massive Manchester United fan.

Christopher Price

Vetting Coordinator

Chris has recently joined the vetting department and has fitted in perfectly. His unique personality is enjoyed by the whole team, often making everyone laugh! From his first week, Chris has been working hard, putting in his all and making sure that the targets he sets for himself daily are fulfilled. Chris has an extensive skillset including time management, independence and communication among his candidates and colleagues. His personality and work ethic make him a valuable team member and it’s brilliant to have him as part of our team.

When not at work, Chris is a true family man, looking after his family and taking them out for family trips! He is also a very keen supporter of motorsports, ensuring he watches every F1 race and Belle Vue Aces Speedway meeting whilst supporting his favourite F1 driver Sebastian Vettel.

Janvi joined Irlam Associates in March 2022. She firmly believes in the company`s vision to be the best Recruitment Agency and constantly strives to add value to that goal with her dedication and commitment.

Janvi loves to create powerful and engaging relationships with candidates and clients alike.
With extensive recruitment experience spanning over 15 years and still counting…. She has turned her passion for meeting and helping people into a successful career.

On a personal front, Janvi loves to join her footy-mad husband and son to games as often as possible. They recently welcomed a beautiful puppy into their home as a proud and beautiful new addition to the family. Janvi and her husband are also active members of the local community and take pride in bringing people together through different events, festival celebrations and even occasional coffee meet up`s.

Anisa recently joined the vetting department and brings with her an enthusiastic and energetic personality. With her previous experience as a Case Manager, she possesses a wide range of skills, such as managing colleagues, meeting deadlines, and ensuring all the work that she carries out is completed to the highest standard. Anisa has been a great addition to the team, and she continues to work hard to ensure all expectations that colleagues, clients and candidates have of her are met.

Outside of work, Anisa enjoys socialising with her friends and watching the reality TV show Below Deck. She also wouldn’t say no to a nice cold drink on a Friday evening as she looks ahead to the weekend!
